Description : Our client is a multi-entity group led by a renowned and well-regarded international celebrity, including creative service firms, a collection of online DTC e-commerce brands, and a number of entertainment properties. They are seeking a scrappy, hands-on E-Commerce Director to oversee the company’s online operations and communications across departments, including but not limited to; business operations, online store management, inventory management, forecasting, customer service, and release planning.

This role currently requires candidates to be in their LA office full-time. There will be flexibility to work from home occasionally down the road.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee systems, inventory management, and communication across departments
- Initiate continuous optimization of all e-commerce channels and oversee sales performance
- Create and manage a robust test and control environment for testing new marketing, merchandising, and promotional tactics
- Maintain e-commerce channels and develop new pages and features to maximize purchase frequency and customer loyalty
- Manage site inventory/forecasting by partnering with key external and internal partners, including 3PLs, Product Manufacturers, Suppliers, Web Development Partners, Customer Service Representatives, Logistics Managers, and Inventory Managers
- Partner with the Marketing and Production teams on brand awareness and building activities to maximize marketing/sales in the eCommerce channel
- Interface and collaborate with the Accounting and Project Management teams to deliver scale-able campaigns

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a similar DTC setting
- Deep knowledge and direct experience in Shopify
- Experience with inventory management
- Ability to understand industry, marketplace, competition, consumer behavior/demands, and demographics
- Comfortability communicating marketing plans and strategies to executive stakeholders both internally and externally
- Arts and entertainment experience is a plus
- Experience in building/leading similar departments
- Excellent communications skills -- this person will be facilitating projects across many different departments

Compensation: $150k salary
