Channel Marketing Manager for an Industry-Leading Lighting Company

Description : Our client is an industry-leading lighting company that designs and builds LED downlighting that sets the bar for flexibility, performance, and quality. They are seeking  Channel Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing programs to promote the company to Lighting Representative Agents and Specifiers and to support the overall marketing strategy.  This role involves creating marketing plans and training materials, staying up to date with the customers and customer trends, and managing marketing campaigns. Applicants should have lighting industry experience, strong communication skills, and excellent time management. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.

This is an in-office position offering some flexibility. This role would be great for a former lighting or design salesperson who is looking to shift to a role with less travel and just as much impact. 

Responsibilities:
- Develop Marketing Strategies: Work with Marketing and Sales channel leads to develop customer-specific marketing strategies for the forthcoming year
- Maintain and develop relationships with sales representatives
- Promote Growth: Understand key market drivers unique to customers and generate new ideas; advocate to support and grow sales
- Training: Develop training materials, e.g., presentations, videos, webinars, etc. and conduct product training for sales representatives, architects, and other partners
- Marketing Resources: Work with the marketing team to develop and manage marketing assets and communication that will resonate with customers and grow sales, e.g., sell sheets, product notifications, etc
- Content Creation: Develop content and content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term goals
- Perform Market Research: Monitor what other companies and competitors are doing, staying ahead of the curve and aware of the latest marketing and digital trends
- Create and measure KPIs: DMF is a learning organization, and the Marketing Manager will gather data on campaign results and create reports to - show what worked and what was less effective

Qualifications:
- 3-8 years of experience in marketing or sales
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience required, additional degrees a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration with the Marketing team, other departments, and external contacts
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized while managing multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Ability to analyze data, observe trends, evaluate and report on the success of campaigns
- Experience in lighting is highly desirable
- Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics programs is a plus
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), etc
