Retention Marketing Manager for a D2C Skin Care Brand

Description : Our client is a D2C skin care brand focused on creating top-quality and cruelty-free products at an affordable price. They've experienced rapid growth since their launch, and are seeking a growth-oriented Retention Marketing Manager to manage their e-commerce marketing calendar and email marketing efforts. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and represents the chance to learn from experts in the D2C space.

- Assist the VP of Marketing with execution of the e-commerce marketing calendar, including collaboration with external vendors (copywriters, influencers, graphic designers, developers, etc.) as needed
- Copywrite and proofread site content, marketing emails, and other sales materials
- Segment, schedule, and plan email campaigns
- Analyze email marketing performance through regular A/B testing, measuring results and offering suggestions for improvement
- Continually strive for improved customer retention and lifetime value
- Manage other duties and projects as assigned by the VP of Marketing

- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- 4-8 years marketing experience, with at least three focused on loyalty/retention marketing (email, CRM, etc.) in the CPG space
- Minimum 3 years experience working with MailChimp, Kaviyo, or similar email marketing service  
- Copywriting abilities, including content creation, proofreading, editing, and execution
- Experience managing and upkeeping content/e-commerce calendars
- Functional analytical skills, including A/B testing, Google Analytics, and Excel
- Passion for e-commerce with the desire to learn and grow in the D2C space
- Commitment to the company's mission of creating sustainable, affordable skin care products
- Ability to self manage and work independently, but willing to jump in and lend a hand with various projects regardless of job title--this is a team environment!
